Pozvánka na XXIV. ORCA CUP
Milé tímy,
srdečne Vás pozývame na medzinárodné plavecké preteky ORCA CUP 2023, ktoré sú najvýznamnejším podujatím svojho druhu na Slovensku. ORCA CUP, ktorý sa koná od roku 1998, sa stal rešpektovaným podujatím v medzinárodnom plaveckom kalendári a počas svojej histórie prilákal špičkové tímy a športovcov z 39 rôznych krajín.
Ako kvalifikačné podujatie na Majstrovstvá sveta vo vodných športoch vo Fukuoke, EYOF 2023, Majstrovstvá Európy juniorov aU23 a Majstrovstvá sveta juniorov je to príležitosť pre plavcov ukázať svoj talent a získať miesto na svetovej scéne.
ORCA CUP 2023 sa uskutoční na krytom 50-metrovom bazéne s 8 dráhami s využitím najnovšej časomernej technológie od spoločnosti Swiss Timing. Všetci účastníci budú mať k dispozícii aj rozplavávací bazén.
Na podujatí budú pôsobiť medzinárodní rozhodcovia z listín FINA č. 21 a 22, ktorí zabezpečia spravodlivú súťaž na najvyššej úrovni. Ako je už dlhoročnou tradíciou, mladí plavci budú mať možnosť stretnúť sa so špičkovými plavcami, pričom súťaž bude každý deň rozdelená do troch blokov, pričom stredný blok bude určený špeciálne pre mladších športovcov. Vo finálovom bloku budú mať opäť príležitosť získať medailu pretekári vo všetkých 3 kategóriách.

I want to ask you kindly to forward this invitation to your swimming clubs. Unfortunately, I don’t have the list of your clubs to contact them directly. The event will be held the first weekend in May (05.05.-07.05.2023), and we will be quite happy to see swimmers or national team members from your country.
We warmly invite you to the international swimming competition ORCA CUP 2023, the most important event of its kind in Slovakia. The ORCA CUP, which has been held since 1998, has become a respected event in the international swimming calendar and has attracted top teams and athletes from 39 countries throughout its history.
As a qualifying event for the Fukuoka World Aquatics Championships, it is an opportunity for swimmers to showcase their talents and earn a place on the world stage.
ORCA CUP 2023 will take place in an indoor 50m pool with eight lanes using the latest timing technology from Swiss Timing. A warm-up pool will also be available to all participants.
International FINA List 21 and 22 referees will officiate the event to ensure fair competition at the highest level. As a long-standing tradition, young swimmers will have the opportunity to meet top swimmers. The competition will be divided into three blocks each day, with the middle block specifically for the younger athletes. In the final's block, competitors in all three categories will again be able to swim for a medal.
